The Pedagogical Thinking of Shaykh Dr. Abdalqadir as-Sufi applied to Primary Education

This workshop is for all educators – those already practicing and those training to practice in the future – who want to deepen the question: how can we apply the teachings we have received from Shaykh Dr. Abdalqadir as-Sufi in Primary Education?
How can we translate them with regards to the selection and formation of teaching staff, to our educational project in general, to the organization of our teaching centre and its curriculum, to our teaching aims, syllabus, methodology, and evaluation?
This workshop shall be useful for all persons, who have taken on responsibility in the establishment and maintenance of a teaching institution, wherever it may be. Although it will focus on the Primary School of the Al Andalus Foundation for Education, it may however be equally useful for other educational projects, which educate children of the primary stage.
We will address themes like:
-Tawhid in Education
-Language. The Value of the Word.
-The Recovery of a Classical Education.
-Relation with Nature. Sciences.
-Movement, Dance and Physical Exercise.
-Education in Arts
-Gender Distinction (Separation of Boys & Girls)
-The Traditional School

-Social Nexus
-Formation of Teachers at Primary Stage.
