El Emir de la Comunidad Islámica en España anuncia que no habiendo sido avistado el cuarto creciente de la luna en la zona de referencia, en el día de hoy queda fijado el comienzo del mes de Ramadan para el próximo martes día 7 de junio. Cumpliendo así el mes de Sha´ban su ciclo de 30 días.
Allah says in the Qur'an:
“¡Creyentes! Se os ha prescrito el ayuno al igual que se les prescribió a los que os precedieron.
May you fear (Allah)!
For a certain number of days, fixed for that purpose.
However, if you are ill or travelling, you may do so on an equal number of other days.
And those who could fast (do not fast or break their fast) the remedy will be to feed the poor.
But whoever does good spontaneously, it is better for him. And if you fast, it is better for you, if you know.
In the month of Ramadan the Qur'an was brought down, guidance for men and clear proofs of Guidance and Discernment; so whoever among you sees the month, let him fast; and whoever is sick or on a journey, let him fast at another time, for the same number of days.
Allah wants for you the easy and not the difficult, but He wants you to complete the number (of days) and to proclaim the greatness of Allah for having guided you.
¡Ojalá seáis agradecidos!”

Let us ask Allah for ease in this holy month and the greatest of rewards in this life and the next, Amin.
